PrimusGFS is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI)-recognized audit certification program that has been used for many years in different areas of the food industry, particularly with fresh produce. It is designed to be used for primary production (including horticulture, grains and pulses) and manufacturing sectors globally.

Certified by SENASICA in the Pollution Risk Reduction System (SRRC). SENASICA promotes the application of SRRC among producers and establishments, through manuals of Good Practices, guidelines and formats that serve as a guide for producers for their implementation in the different programs: agricultural, livestock, aquaculture and fishing.

SMETA is an audit procedure that brings together good practices in an ethical auditing technique.

The SMETA methodology uses the ETI code and local laws as an assessment tool. It includes four modules:

• Labor standards

• Environment

• Business ethics
